Aim for 100% attendance - bring your child to school every day and make sure they stay after school for Read Alliance programming
Read to your child at home – in any language
Bring your child to the library to pick out books that he or she wants to read
Attend the Read Alliance Parent Reception or visit the program on any day to meet your child's tutor, see your child read and learn our simple technique for teaching new words
Join us at the Read Alliance Completion Ceremony to celebrate your child's reading progress

Help your teen complete the online tutor application and submit all necessary paperwork on time
Submit the parent permission form to the Read Alliance office
Ensure that your teen attends Read Alliance programming every day required
Help your teen establish good workplace habits, such as arriving on time and calling on days that they can't attend
Visit our programs section to see your teen at work and join us for the Completion Ceremony to celebrate your teen's success
