A New Challenge
This month, we proudly announce a new and very special opportunity to share the love of reading offered to us through a challenge grant from the Peter Jay Sharp Foundation. The Difference a Job Makes
What makes Read Alliance so special is our vision to prepare two at-risk populations for continued academic and personal accomplishment. Not only do we shrink the achievement gap by providing at-risk students with basic reading skills, but we continue to provide hundreds of teens with meaningful, paid jobs each year. Our teen tutors learn more than the ins and outs of having a job: they get the added benefits of making an impact on a child’s life.
