On Thursday, April 30th passionate supporters of Read Alliance's mission to improve the educational trajectory of at risk, early elementary students gathered together at The Park Cafe for an evening of celebration, networking, and philanthropy. The evening kicked off with a VIP reception overflowing with Board members--past and present, READ's teen tutor ambassadors, and many of the event's generous sponsors.

When Ismael Guadalupe first set foot in the halls of a READ program site he was a READ tutor. Fast forward ten years later, and Ismael is back in those same halls--this time, as a program manager.
