Read Alliance works to improve the educational trajectory of at-risk kindergarten and first grade students through one-to-one tutoring in foundational reading skills
6th Annual Spring Benefit
This year hundreds will gather for Read Alliance’s 6th Annual Spring Benefit on May 8th, 2014. With stunning views of Central Park, guests will enjoy an evening of networking, mingling with children’s authors, meeting our teen tutors, and helping to give the gift of reading.
The event will be held from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the Park Café of the Time Warner and will feature a silent auction and an emotional appeal. All of the proceeds from the evening will support READ’s Summer and School Year Reading Programs, helping at-risk kindergarten and first grade students build the reading skills necessary for academic and personal success.
