Closing the Literacy Gap Together
We are honored to announce that Read Alliance is a CharitySub selection this month! CharitySub, a new collective online giving platform, is focusing their efforts on closing the literacy gap during March. To help us tell the story of early literacy, the CharitySub team joined us at Public School 9K in Brooklyn where they filmed our program in action.
Schroders Investment Management
Since 2008, Schroders Investment Management North America has supported Read Alliance through a corporate sponsorship. This year, by raising over $33,000 to date, Schroders has exceeded their goal of supporting Read Alliance at PS5X during the school year!
Vicole
While most of his peers were reading picture books, Vicole began the school year unable to read at all. His teachers recommended him for Read Alliance, where he achieved a year and six months improvement in his reading skills, putting him at grade level with his peers.
