Online Application

If you're 14 or older, you are eligible to apply for a paid position as a Read Alliance tutor. Follow the easy steps below to apply.

1. Complete an online application
2. Submit all required paperwork:
   
   • School report card
   • Parent Consent Form
   • Social Security Number*
3. Attend our tutor training

*Read Alliance operates under contract with the New York City Department of Education, which requires that we have social security numbers on file for everyone who works with DOE children, including volunteers.
